Welcome back to our multi-part series on Continuous Improvement through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) where we walk listeners through using a DMAIC RCA approach to solving a single problem. On this episode, Larry continues with the Measurement phase of the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) process so we can begin to measure or investigate the incident.
Missed the first 2 episodes for this multi-part series? Start with the intro episode as Larry sets the scene with the basics of RCA; such as techniques/tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Cause Mapping, FMEA, PDAC, A3) and the DMAIC process. Then follow along for Part 1 - Define as Larry defines what we are investigating using the DMAIC process for RCA.
