Leaders & supervisors create culture. Both good and bad. I once heard that describing beauty is difficult, but once you see it you know! Same goes with any organization, I can tell within a couple hours what the culture of the facility is, so can you!

Leadership must be actively involved with the workforce and gain their trust. Introduce Gemba Walks to your group. Understand what the barriers are that prevent folks from completing their tasks safety and efficiently. If you don’t know the name of every employee, you have an issue!
