How a Major Brewery and Bottling Company Reduced Annual Maintenance Labor by 650 Hours
Nexus Global was engaged to conduct a strategy review of the bottling line using proven maintenance and reliability principals. The overall objective was to ensure value-added maintenance practices were employed and maintenance resources were directed towards activities to improve plant throughput and reduce maintenance and downtime related costs.
The main goals were to develop and implement a company wide maintenance strategy review process and also to implement an optimized maintenance strategy for the bottling line. The results of which would benefit the company through improving throughput, reducing maintenance costs, and having an established process for ongoing M&R improvement.
